Inlet Temp Probe Malfunction

Inlet temperature has either failed or is dirty.

You may try cleaning the probe by removing and cleaning with a cloth or paper towel. If that does not work, the temp probe will need to be replaced.

False Fire / Ignition Error / Accidental Flameout

Lack of gas supply / Bad Gas Pressure / Loose or Corroded Wires

Check that gas supply in open/"turned on" to the heater. / Remove front cover and check wire connections for corrision.

13 Limit Switch Error Water Heater has overheated or there is a bad limit switch. Replace Limit Switch
30 / 31 / 32 / 40 Fan or Flue Failure Flue Blockage / Fan Wires are Loose / Bad Fan or Fan Sensor Check that there are no blockages of air flow into or out of unit and flue. / Remove front cover and check wire coming from fan and connecting to motherboard. / Fan will need replaced.
50 / 51 Anti-Scald Protection Water Temperatures exceeded 140F Reduce temperature setting to between 42C-49C
60 Outlet Temp Probe Malfunction Outlet temperature has either failed or is dirty. You may try cleaning the probe by removing and cleaning with a cloth or paper towel. If that does not work, the temp probe will need to be replaced.
80 Time Limit Protection Continuous Use has exceeded 50 Minute Time Limit Safety This is a safety feature to help sustain the lifespan of the tankless water heaters heat exchanger. If the need for hot water is continuous, the water source will need to be closed and reopened to reset the safety timer.
